Documentation
Mythmaker is a solo-play tabletop roleplaying engine with an AI game master. You play a single protagonist; the app runs the world, rolls the oracles, and journals everything as readable prose. There’s no group to schedule and no rulebook to memorize — the interface walks you through each beat.
These docs cover the front-end: what every button does and what each gameplay loop looks like.
Quick start
- Get access. During early access, sign-ups are invite-only — reach out for an invite if you don’t have one.
- Create your account at app.mythmakerpg.com/signup, then click the confirmation link we email you. New accounts start with free credits — no card required.
- Sign in. The first time, a quick setup asks how you want to play — pick one or more modes. See Getting Started.
- Begin a new campaign. A guided wizard walks you through it, one step at a time — story kind, how you’ll play it, the world, and a few seeds — with a ✦ Suggest along the way. See Creating a Campaign.
- Play. Describe what your protagonist does, ask the oracles when you’re unsure, and watch the journal write itself. See The Play Screen.
